By Daily Mail Reporter. Raymundo Aranda-Parra was charged with statutory rape and interference with custody for his alleged role in the disappearance of a year-old girl. The teen, who's identity was not released because she is the alleged victim of a sex crime, was found safe Monday near Norcross, Georgia, with her older companion. Love nest: Raymundo took the girl to the Knight Hotel where she later called her parents after discovering she'd been reported missing.
According to police, Aranda-Parra met the teen on a website called MocoSpace. Forbidden love: Raymundo Aranda-Parra had known the unidentified girl for months and met her at least twice before this Sunday's incident when her parents reported her missing. Investigators say the pair may have carried on an online relationship for as long as seven months before finally arranging to meet. This Sunday's incident was the third time they had met in person. This weekened Aranda-Parra, 24, drove miles from Norcross to Glennville to meet her, but after a confrontation with her parents he had to arrange a secret rendezvous with the girl.
He then took her to at least one hotel, police said. Grogan said Aranda-Parra definitely knew the girl had been reported missing.
After hearing her name in the media and a statewide alert, she called her father Monday morning from a room at the Knights Hotel. The girl is also being held by the police department and being questioned about her role in the incident. Wanted: Police put out a statewide bulletin for the girl and Raymundo's black truck when she was reported missing.
